Hole One
• Beautiful setting to start the round with the Lakeside Grill and the Vintner’s Lake on the right
• Ideal tee shot would be long and right-center to yield the best angle into the green
• Second shot can be tricky with a carry over wetlands and trees both left and right
Hole Two
• Medium length par 3 with bunkers left and right and tall Redwoods in back of the green on the right
• Best position for birdie is right-center of the green
Hole Three
• Slight dogleg right with a lake on the right and behind the green
• Easiest par 4 on the course – a definite birdie hole
Hole Four
• Beautiful and tough par 3 with lake in front of the green and OB left
• Probably the toughest hole on the course
• Do not miss the green on the left side, as the ball will bounce towards OB from slopes on left side of green
Hole Five
• Tight driving hole with wetlands left and right – very tough driving hole from the back tee
• Slightly elevated green
Hole Six
• Long uphill par 5 with a beautiful view of California Veteran’s Home – plays 20 yards longer than yardage
• One of the best par 5’s in the county
• Tricky green – extremely fast from top to bottom
Hole Seven
• Straight-away par 4 with lake on the right off the tee – check yardage on approach shot
• Good birdie opportunity here
Hole Eight
• Downhill par 3 set beautifully against 70 foot Sequoyah Redwood trees behind the green
• Do not go over the green – slopes away toward Redwoods – definite bogey or more if you’re long
Hole Nine
• Downhill par 3 set beautifully against 70 foot Sequoyah Redwood trees behind the green
• Do not go over the green – slopes away toward Redwoods – definite bogey or more if you’re long
